LighthouseMD, a leading provider of revenue cycle management, practice management and clinical workflow solutions to medical groups, today announced that it has completed the SureScripts certification process that will allow LighthouseMD physician practice users to electronically transmit prescriptions to thousands of pharmacies.

SureScripts, the nation’s largest network provider of electronic prescribing services, works with technology providers like LighthouseMD to enhance patient safety and improve the effectiveness of the prescribing process through the use of the SureScripts Electronic Prescribing Network™.

“We are always looking to provide additional functionality to our revenue cycle management, practice management and clinical workflow solutions,” said Russell Keene, chief executive officer, LighthouseMD. “This enhanced certification for the SureScripts Electronic Prescribing Network will certainly improve the efficiency, safety and overall quality of the prescribing process for our physician practice customers.”
